Finished Body Surfing by Anita Shreve, which will be my last Anita Shreve book until next month/year. (Scary to think about--we're less than a month away from 2009.) I enjoyed this one. It's about a woman who tutors an 18-year-old girl (she's "slow," but we're never told exactly how slow she is) and becomes sort of an object of affection for the girl's two brothers.
I'm very excited about reading a book that isn't by Anita Shreve, but I'm a little sad, too. I'm almost out of books of hers. Hopefully she'll write a new one next year. :)
(I love coming across new authors that have a huge backlog of books. It doesn't happen for me that often.)
