Gah! The first book is almost 700+ pages! And the second is almost 700 pages! Damn, that's alot!

Boy, am I impressed that you got through that!

Seriously, it's not. Each volume is three books, which are all slightly over 200 pages. I'm just going it as one book because it's one giant book.

And it's insanely easy to read. 662 pages of LJ Smith (which is what the second volume was) is not at ALL hard.

only people that know about the night world are witches, vampires and werewolves.

And overnight radio announcers. Trust me. :-)

Possibly that aspect is so secret and/or scary that LJ Smith was afraid to include that group in her novels?
Honestly, I'd rather have vampires show up at my house than overnight radio announcers. I say that having been one for a few years. (an overnight jock, not a vampire)
I don't know. I don't have coffee, which I imagine would keep the overnight DJs away. But I do have blood in my veins, which would make me attractive to the vampires.
Okay, you definitely made me curious! I have to check it out :-)
