Finished The Dust of 100 Dogs by A.S. King for the new author challenge and the numbers challenge.
This was really, really fun.
The general gist is that in the 1600s, there was a teenage pirate who was cursed with the dust of 100 dogs, which means that she was reincarnated as a dog 100 times before she could be a human again.
Now--100 dog lives later--she's a teenage girl again and she remembers where she buried the treasure so all she needs to do is get to Jamaica.
Such a fun book and I want to be a pirate.

Did you read Revolutionary Road? Did you like it (meaning, does it get better)? I'm having a really hard time getting into it because I don't main characters at all..well, one of the main characters, anyhow, he's such a jerk.
I haven't read it. The book I'm reading now (Who by Fire), the author has it listed in the back as one of her favorite books. But from what I hear, I think it's generally unhappiness all the way through.
I want to hear pirate stories! I want to see treasure pictures!
I don't think I would be a good pirate.
