Finished The School For Dangerous Girls by Eliot Schrefer for the New Author Challenge.
This was entertaining, but not great. It's another one of those that I'd probably love if I had been younger when I'd read it (and if I hadn't read it right after Unwound).
Hidden Oak is a school for girls who have basically exhausted all of their other non-jail options. After spending a month with the other new girls, they are sorted into two groups--gold threads (the girls who can be rehabilitated and thus are given more freedom) and purple threads (the girls who are beyond any sort of hope and who get three hours of school a day and then are basically left to govern themselves--think Lord of the Flies).
