Finished Dewey by Vicki Myron for the New Author Challenge.
This is the book about the cat (Dewey) that was found in the book return bin in an Iowa library and ended up living there. It's cute and sweet and, while not the best-written book ever, will resonate for people who like animals.
Dewey seems like he was quite the character.
I'm reading Marley and Me next. (Then I'm wandering over into "coming-of-age" novels for a bit.)

It's cute and I'm glad I read it. It's a very quick read, although it's about as much about Iowa as it is about Dewey. I know a lot about Iowa now.
There's apparently a lot of corn. I knew that before, now that I think of it; I've seen Field of Dreams.
Also, the author? Okay, you know how I act like Sam's a person and not a dog? Dewey is TOTALLY a person. With dialogue and everything. (Well, thought-dialogue; he doesn't actually talk.)
I read Marley & Me a long time ago, along with this one and I think I liked this one better.
but it probably doesn't fit in your book challenges. :)
