I should have said this yesterday, but if you notice my blog's new title, please don't think I'm the creative one. My awesome friend kellysouth came up with it.
So yeah, thank you Kelly for coming up with it and for sharing it. :)

Silliness aside, (((hugs))) for writing yesterday about TCM's Hitchcock marathon. My show was far more enjoyable with "North by Northwest" and "Psycho." Since I had to keep pausing them to do "work," they lasted the whole afternoon. NbyNW is one of my favorites, and I'd forgotten how good "Psycho" was (Hitch made it for just $800,000). I took a Hitchcock class for my minor, and we had to watch every film he made. It sounds great, but it was rather daunting and over-ambitious for one 15 week semester. NbyNW was my favorite then, and it still holds the title. It's an interesting story and all, but the actors make it: James Mason as the villain and Cary Grant as the suave victim. Oh, and Eva Marie Saint as Eve Kendall? Possibly the greatest female character ever. Beautiful, duplicitous, and armed. Meow.
Anyway, I hope your Sunday zooms by, at least till the Oscars start.
We are an international group; soon we will be everywhere! :)
My Hitchcock knowledge is sadly lacking. I LOVE Psycho and the Birds and Rear Window. I still need to watch North By Northwest, but I ended up skipping the marathon because I have a really hard time watching new stuff at work. (There's always stuff to do--wire stories, etc--so it's really hard to follow stuff I'm not already familiar with.)
LOL about the new branch opening Tom....actually kellysouth is located in the north!
