Ooooooh
So I'm four chapters into Creepers and am LOVING IT thus far. (Great recommendation, SweetMisery!)
There is a sequel, but I went over my bookbuying budget this month (between a new Stephen King and my desire to ensure that I had plenty of reading for the Salisbury trip--most of which I ended up reading over my weekend) and it didn't help that I bought birthday presents for Jeannine.
So that, the new Jane Green, and of course, some book about a boy wizard will be my books for July.
Also--coolest idea ever!

The first week of July is "Buy a Friend a Book Week."
They do it every January, April, July and October. And shockingly enough I participate, if you can interpret "a friend" as "yourself."

Please do consider entering my BAFAB contest: http://www.dhamel.com/buyafriendabook/2007_06_01_archive.html#4882032894420775396#4882032894420775396 or http://tweetl.com/vk. I've got extra copies of my book burning a hole on my shelves....
Yeah...although I do buy books for people's birthday presents. Just generally not for no reason. (Unless it's for me.)
Oooh, a book contest?
I'm 100 pages in and it is SO GOOD!
Library...hmmm. I keep meaning to do that, but it just never works out. I think part of it is that when it comes to new books, I either read them right away or I hoard them for a long time. Creepers, for example, I have in hardback and I hadn't opened it before tonight.
I tend to overbudget for books and underbudget for food, so on busy book months, I tend to eat a lot of peanut butter and jelly.
